Southern Sheep Services provides professional sheep crutching services across Southland and Otago throughout the year. With an experienced team and efficient systems, the crew works to a high standard at speed, while keeping livestock handling safe and controlled. Equipped with a 3 stand Hecton trailer, a 3 stand Perkinz trailer, and a 2 stand Perkinz trailer, Southern Sheep Services is set up to handle work of any scale. Southern Sheep Services provides efficient conveyor work to help keep stock moving smoothly through the yards during busy operations. Using well set up systems and an experienced team, they ensure sheep are handled safely while maintaining strong flow and productivity.

Tailing
Southern Sheep Services operates with two tailing gangs and has ability to provide a third gang when the weather is against us to keep us on track for the farmers lambs to be tailed when required. We also can supply larger tailing pens to cater for higher volume mobs.
